As a small Certificated Site, Beverley Farm is ideal for that relaxed, secluded stay in Hampshire - a perfect base for visiting friends & family, exploring or just chilling-out!
We are on the outskirts of the rural village of Medstead, surrounded by beautiful Hampshire countryside, 4 miles from the market town of Alton and 5 miles from the beautiful historic town of Alresford. The cultural city of Winchester is a 15 minute drive away, and the larger cities of Portsmouth and Guildford are accessible in around 30 minutes.
The site is just a short country lane walk from the famous Watercress Steam Railway line. Jane Austen's house can be found in the nearby village of Chawton, and Gilbert White's house can be found in the village of Selbourne. Alton itself boasts museums, cafes, bars, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. There is a regular Tuesday market as well as farmer's markets, and an occasional French Market. Alton has a mainline station to London Waterloo.
The local pub is in the centre of the Medstead village just 20 mins walk down a country lane. Even closer via a 10-15 mins walk, is a cafe, a butchers & deli, a small Tescos, Co-op, a number of independent shops and a Chinese takeaway, Indian restaurant and Fish & Chip shop.
